The Copper Queens arrived in New Zealand to a thunderous welcome by Zambian fans at Auckland International Airport. They had a captivating welcome at Turangawaewae Marae and were treated to traditional food and hospitality by the Zambian Community at the Waikato University.
As the final preparations are underway for the Copper Queens before their first game against Japan on 22nd July, the atmosphere amongst fans is at fever pitch.
