Come Together. Step Forward. Shape What Comes Next
COME TOGETHER. STEP FORWARD. SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TIYENDE PAMODZI
Like every other camp before, Tiyende Pamodzi is about creating space for our community to relax, reconnect and celebrate together. There is something for every generation.

Culture, Music & Dance
Celebrate our heritage through Zambian music, dance, food, storytelling and cultural expression.
It is an opportunity for our children to experience their heritage being lived and celebrated, while the rest of us enjoy the rhythms, flavours and traditions that connect us to home.
One community. Many expressions.

Sports, Youth & Fellowship
From games and sporting activities to youth programmes and relaxed fellowship, there will be plenty of opportunities to participate, laugh and connect.
It is about bringing different generations together — creating friendships, strengthening relationships and simply enjoying each other's company.
Play. Connect. Belong.
BUT COMING TOGETHER IS ONLY PART OF THE STORY…
2026 ZIAA EXECUTIVE ELECTIONS
A strong community is not only built by attending events. It is also built by people who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, skills and energy. As we celebrate how far ZIAA has come, we must also ask:
Who will help shape what comes next?
STEP FORWARD TO SERVE

ZIAA has grown because members of our community have been willing to step forward and contribute. Through community gatherings, cultural activities, youth engagement, information, advocacy and support, the Association has created a platform that helps Zambians across Aotearoa stay connected and build community. But none of this happens automatically.
It happens because people choose to serve.
The 2026 ZIAA Executive Elections are an opportunity for another group of members to bring their experience, ideas and energy to the Association. Perhaps this is your time.
could it be you?
PERHAPS YOUR SKILLS ARE EXACTLY WHAT ZIAA NEEDS
You do not need to have all the answers before putting your hand up.
Perhaps your strength is leadership, finance, communication, technology, business, governance, youth engagement, cultural development or simply bringing people together.
Perhaps you see something ZIAA could be doing better.
Perhaps you have an idea you have been waiting for someone else to pursue.
Maybe that someone is you.
Serving on the ZIAA Executive is an opportunity to turn ideas into action, represent your community and help leave the Association stronger for those who come after us.
WHAT COULD YOU CONTRIBUTE?
And perhaps an even bigger question:
What could ZIAA become if more of us were willing to contribute?

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
Positions being elected include:
Chairperson
Treasurer
Secretary
Deputy Chairperson — North Island
Deputy Chairperson — South Island
Youth Representatives
Executive Committee Members
Communications Lead
Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements contained in the ZIAA Constitution, including being a registered ZIAA member.
ONE COMMUNITY. TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE.
This October, participation can mean joining us at Tiyende Pamodzi and experiencing the community we have built together.
It can also mean putting your hand up to help build what comes next.
Secure your ticket. Bring the family. Consider serving. Encourage someone else to step forward.
Because ZIAA does not belong to an Executive Committee.
